The two-story house is a great example of the Antioquian Colonization Coffee Architecture with spacious corridors, terraces and a wide wraparound verandah. All units here are air-conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV, a living room with a sofa, a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a private bathroom with bidet, a hairdryer and free toiletries. While we were there, there was a buff-necked ibis nest just above the lovely pool with two large chicks. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Join The house was built in the earlier 20th century and in the last two decades has been refurbished to provide the best accommodation for tourists in the coffee growing axis (Eje Cafetero - Quindio). Nora and the workers themselves are mostly Spanish-speaking so be prepared to speak Spanish most of the time.The property itself is beautiful. Located in the heart of the city Hvar -Villa Nora is housed in a former palace from the 14th century. Some of the beds are on the small aside for a double but we were offered a two room suite as compensation.
