I have been impressed with the quality of production and sound of all the tracks. Fast forward some 20 years and I heard someone on the radio make a comment about "Well you gotta take a chance on it sometimes" or something to that effect, and it reminded me of this cd (namely, "Take A Chance On Me".
Once digitally remastered, you might as well buy the CD - why waste the extra bucks and space with vinyl.

You really shouldn't be hearing a lot of pops, hiss or scratching when you listen to vinyl, that only shows you either have poor equipment, a poor quality record, or both.

The '40s had the Mills Brothers as the high-priests of harmony; in the '50s it was "The Platters" and the "Everly Brothers"; in the '60s it was "The Mamas and the Papas" ... but in the '70s ... harmony, within the music industry, was OWNED by: ABBA.

Shop ABBA Gold [LP] VINYL at Best Buy. The party took place at a restaurant that had arrange an ABBA tribute night.By the end of the night I definately wanted to purchase one of their albums. item was damaged in delivery and was just left on my doorstep with no note posted through, pretty sure no none even knocked plus it was raining and in a box twice its size but album itself is great love abba
Even if you weren't "around" in the mid-'70s, the music created during those few short years by ABBA will stand the test of time. While I bought the album expressly for the purpose on playing on my turntable I like that I can also play it in the car as well and not have to purchase another copy. Their "GOLD" album proves it. (2LP) 2014 remastered reissue of hit-filled 'best of' collection pressed on 180-gram vinyl plus download!

Please try again I was also pleased to see I could get a digital copy of album as well. I absolutely loved this and couldn't believe how many tracks I knew. All my favourite ABBA songs, had so much fun dancing around my room! The record was released in 1992. I wish more artists nowadays were valued not by what they looked like or their attractiveness, but more on how well they sound, how much heart they put in their music, and how positive of an influence they can be on the listening world as a whole.
Ace. New Submission Not a single song plays without skipping.

All your favourites. There was a lot of choice so it took a while to sift through the results but felt that this was a happy medium. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote.
Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. The music of Abba is legendary. I was happy to add this album to my growing vinyl collection, and I loved the fact that it was a 180g version as I like that version better than the standard pressings where the vinyl can at times feel much more flimsy.
