Generally, the different staged kits for the WRX from different companies are about the same in terms of power added and parts included, but it's common to piece together your own kit, often including parts from many different companies.
I’d love to go Cobb but it’s way more than others like the Grimm Speed stage 2 kit.Are there any that people have had really good results with?Do I need a full kit? TGV deletes replace the stock part with one that has no valves, and the ECU is tuned to ignore them. While it's difficult to define all of the WRX stages past stage 2, there are still some general guidelines. I have a stage 2+ with catless DP and the car screams "i wanna go fast" and with a nice press on the throttle its a rocket.
Stage 2+ can mean Stage 2 with an intake, with the required tuning, of course. GrimSpeed's Stage 3 kit includes an intake and j-pipe, which alone would either be Stage 2 or 2+ depending on who you ask, as well as an intercooler, charge pipe and electronic boost controller (EBCS).Other common mods people install at this level include TGV and EGR deletes, just like stage 2.
well Accessport stage II is pretty much Stage I with exhaust so you can set the map higher...Stage I numbers are 260hp 265lb ft Stage II is like 285-295hp and upwards of 300+ lb ft, a stage II WRX should be able to run with STi's if not beat them

As for your WRX … My tuners dyno has a stock wrx at 155, and a sti at 210.
Runs way smooth, still reliable.
It seems the greatest gains are the up pipe/downpipe withe some tuning.
Stage 1+ might add a bit more power over Stage 1, but the biggest change you'll notice is more sound from the intake.
